Installation and Downtime for KV Systems
Minimal Downtime Installation
Theraview understands that keeping your linear accelerator operational and avoiding downtime is essential. We provide a minimal downtime installation that only requires missing one treatment day.
A typical installation is scheduled as follows:
- Thursday Evening - TheraView engineers arrive Thursday evening after the last scheduled patient is treated to commence the installation.
- Friday - Linear accelerator is down while KV arm and head are mounted to system.
- Saturday - KV arm mounting continues.
- Sunday - KV arm mounting continues. After arm and head assembly are mounted the linear accelerator is restored to clinical operation for treatment on Monday.
- Monday - Friday - TheraView technicians will work after treatment hours to finalize system calibrations.
