The TheraView Information Core System (TICS) is an image management system that allows multiple TheraView units to seamlessly integrate images onto a single network. TICS can be used to network and link all support units, including Record & Verify, CT Simulator, Treatment Planning System, and CR Scanner, to one system.
Based on a powerful SQL database, the TICS server allows rapid distribution of patient images across the entire network. This offers clinicians the ability to transfer patient images, annotations, and approvals to other TheraView on-line systems.
TICS is a Linux based PC system that involves:
- DICOM RT Server
- Web Server (Review Web Module)
- Backup (EOD, Network)
- Archiving (DICOM Archive / PACS)
- FTP / Samba Server (non-DICOM Image import)
- mySQL database server, Client / Server model, Multi user access
- Storage of any size images in 8, 12, 16, and 32 bit format (compressed)
- Common database for all clients
- Easy switch of patients between linear accelerators
- Common doctor, field ID, protocol Lists
- Multi center support by transparent
